Born on 2 December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model well known for her appearances on TV shows and films. Brandt began her career as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut came with her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, she has appeared in numerous TV series, such as from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt played the character of Mazikeen since 2016. The TV show Lucifer has a lead character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was brought up within Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens, she emigrated along with her parents in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's profession began as a model after she was featured in commercials on television and magazine ads. Before her rise to recognition as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales as well as being an information technology recruitment consultant. In 2009, she was a part-time actress as a character on the New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Her first major appearance came in 2021, when she appeared as the role of a slave-girl Naevia for the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Naevia's role was also reprised by her on the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena.
