Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox went to her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She took a course in harpsichord and the flautist piano for three years. She survived on a student salary and part-time work to supplement her budget. She was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox began working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva which was released in the year 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera, a collection four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let you go... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland, is a philanthropist as well as a an activist in the political arena. She sings. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They would go on, in the 1980s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992 with her debut album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You.
